Constable Silvia Trevino hosts an annual National Night Out event that is one of the largest in the nation. Thousands of local neighbors attend this FREE event, fostering relationships between law enforcement and the community. Attendees of the event always enjoy free food, free drinks, free music, free entertainment, free prizes, and the chance to talk with the men and women of Precinct 6 that protect them on a daily basis.
Constable Silvia Trevino implemented an easy to use online form, allowing members of our community to request extra patrol of their residence while they are away for an extended period of time.
RUOK is a national program that Constable Silvia Trevino brought to Precinct 6. The program periodically conducts welfare checks on Seniors (age 55+) to ensure they are safe.
Friends4Ever is a No Bullying, No Drugs, No Gangs, No Guns campaign taught in local area schools. Constable Trevino created the program after recognizing a need in our community.
Prior to Constable Silvia Trevino's first term as Precinct 6 Constable, the agency did not currently have a K9 Unit. Constable Trevino established the K9 division, securing multiple K9 units.
